We’re hitting the tracks to bring our 10:10 Community Champion briefing days to a venue near you.

We’re recruiting a crack team of community based volunteers to spread the 10:10 message, so if you’re up for a challenge, we’d love to hear from you. This event is for people looking to spread the 10:10 message out to their local communities.  Booking is free and every participant will get a complimentary copy of our Community Resource Pack. We’ll tell you all about the latest plans for the 10:10 campaign, inspire you with great workshops and speeches,  and send you home ready to give your town, school, university, workplace, street - anywhere you like – a 10:10 makeover.

It won’t be like school, but it will leave you with some new skills, fresh ideas, a whole heap of likeminded 10:10 buddies, and, most importantly, some serious inspiration to support you while you’re  helping everyone cut their carbon in 2010.

Who should Come?

Anyone who wants to spread the 10:10 message far and wide.  If you are part of a community group or local organisation, our Community Resource Pack is designed to help you promote 10:10 alongside your own campaigns.

What will I learn?

We'll brief you on the 10:10 campaign so far, our plans for 2010 and talk you through our Community Resource Pack. You'll also learn how to improve your communication skills so you can talk confidently about 10:10, get top tips on organising events, advice on speaking to the press and  hear inspiring stories from other 10:10'ers.

How much will it cost?

The Community Roadshows are free, all you need to do is get yourself here.

Where are you holding events?

We're planning events across the UK, starting with Manchester, Bristol and London. Early next year we'll be heading to Scotland, Wales and other UK locations. If you want us to come to your town and find a venue to host us then email communities@1010uk.org
